He teaches you the craft, answers instantly at any hour, and knows slightly more about you than he should.  You sit in a rented room at an old laptop and type commands. That's all you do — and it's enough to get in very deep.  How it plays  Everything happens inside a fake operating system: a terminal, a network map, mail, a black market and a browser.
